My name is David Robertson and I am honored to teach Computer Technology at Notre Dame School Vacaville.
I am originally from Scotland where I attended University Of Edinburgh, graduating with honors in Education with emphasis on Physical Education. Since then I have enjoyed 10 fantastic years teaching both in Scotland at High School level and most at David Weir Elementary in Fairfield where I was selected as ‘teacher of the year’ during the 2009-2010 school year. I started here at Notre Dame in the fall of 2010. Using the outstanding technology, including a one-to-one student to Chromebook correspondence we have at Notre Dame, I like to link the PE and computing programs together in order to enhance lifelong skills that prepare students for the future. I place a high emphasis on effort, integrity and respect, and consider myself a good role model for the students.
Away from teaching, I coach soccer at youth professional level. I also enjoy playing golf and above all spending time with my wife, daughter and son.
