Week of November 28-December 2, 2022

Weekly Focus:

Assembly: 4th

Virtue: Humility

SLE: Respect: We follow the life and example of Jesus in how we express ourselves to others.

Scripture: Colossians 3:2 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against

one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Saint of the Week: St. Bernadette

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude to God, our Creator and Provider, whose guidance and care go before

us...and whose love is with us forever. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the changes, to remember that

we, too, grow and change from one season of life to another.Thanksgiving is a time of changing seasons,

when leaves turn golden. in Autumn's wake and apples are crisp in the first chill breezes of fall. Let us

remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving. As we see the beauty of Autumn, let us acknowledge the

many blessings which are ours... let us think of our families and friends..and let us give thanks in our

hearts. AMEN.

Please remember: Friday, December 2 is a minimum day. Dismissal is at 12:15 p.m. Spirit Wear may be

worn.

Advent Service Project

Our Student Council has planned a toy drive for our Advent service project. All toys will be donated to

the Child Life Program at Sutter hospital in honor of Mrs. Smith’s niece, Rosie. Her family has been a part of this toy

drive for many years and it holds a special place in our hearts. Please keep this in mind if you do any

shopping over break as it’s a perfect time to grab an extra toy or two for the toy drive.

Extension Needs

Extension is in need of snacks and water when we return from Thanksgiving break. Also, in great news,

Mrs. Joseph will not be leaving after all. We are blessed she will be a part of our staff until June!

PLEASE NOTE: Extension will not be available on the afternoon of December 16th. All students should

be picked up at 12:15 p.m. Morning extension will still be offered on this day.

I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your break is filled with family, friends, and grateful

hearts. I am grateful for our wonderful community and for your support!
