FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

We are returning to all school Masses weekly on Wednesday at 8:15 am at St. Joseph.

All classes will go to Mass together every Wednesday and on First Friday.

Monday, January 20th, is a school holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. There is no school.

The next NDS school Mass will be on Saturday, January 25th, at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph.

Free dress passes will be given to students who attend in uniform.

The open house for Catholic Schools Week is SATURDAY, January 25th, from 3 p.m. to

4:45 p.m.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Catholic Schools Week is January 25-February 1. Please find the event flyer for the week

attached. Below is a link to sign up for our career fair, which will be held on Monday, January

27th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Also, we are doing a military slideshow and kindly ask you to

upload 1-2 photos if you are active or retired military. Thank you for helping us make this week

5th GRADE ASSISTANT

I am happy to announce that Mrs. Jas Arriaga will be joining our staff as the new 5th-grade

assistant. Jas is a familiar face around the school, helping in the AR store each week and

coaching cheerleading for our middle school students. Mrs. Arriaga is a mom to three students

who attend NDS and is excited to help out our 5th-grade class! Welcome, Mrs. Arriaga, we are

happy to have you!

UNIFORMS

An email with new uniform information was sent today. To clarify, the current uniform will be

allowed through the rest of this school year, so there is no need to purchase anything if your

student still fits the Dennis uniforms you already have. All of the new uniforms do require a logo

to be added, which is a small additional cost. Polos, sweatshirts, jackets, and PE clothes

should all have a logo. Please reach out with any questions as you begin exploring the new

company. I am hopeful this will be a good fit for our school!

PTG Updates

Community PTG Meeting

There will be a Community PTG meeting on Thursday, January 16th @ 8:15am in the small

gym. Attendees will receive a Free Dress Pass and the chance to win TTT hours in our raffle.

Book Fair

The annual book fair will begin on January 27th and continue through January 30th.

Your child's class time slot will be communicated by their teachers. Lower Quad will need parent

volunteers to help support their class shopping time. Please see communication from your

child's teacher for more information on when and how you can help.

We are also asking for parent volunteers to support a couple of after school shopping days

(January 29th & 30th). To volunteer for those dates, you can sign up here.
